Killeen Is Offering Free Bra Fittings This Month to Support Breast Cancer Awareness
Remember, October isn't just about ghouls and goblins, trick-or-treating, pumpkin spice drinks, and seasonal essentials. October is also Breast Cancer Awareness Month. According to Patch.com, Wacoal’s Fit for the Cure will be hosting a free bra-fitting event to support breast cancer awareness.

Central Texas Event Offers Free Bra Fittings to Boost Breast Cancer Education
The event will take place on October 14 at 10 a.m. inside Dillard’s at Killeen Mall, located at 2100 S. W.S. Young Drive. This event allows women to come out, receive an expert bra fitting, and support a truly impactful cause.
Here Is What Happens After Every Purchase?
For every visitor who receives a fitting and purchases a Wacoal or b.tempt’d bra at the event, Wacoal will donate $5 to Susan G. Komen, an organization that supports breast cancer research, education programs, and patient services.
Why Local Experts Are Urging Killeen Residents to Take Advantage of Free Fittings
I don’t feel like breast cancer is talked about enough or truly understood. It’s not just about wearing pink ribbons during October. Individuals, moms, sisters, cousins, friends, daughters, nieces, neighbors, and so many others have been affected by breast cancer and can truly understand why events like this are so important.
What Is Breast Cancer?
Breast cancer occurs when abnormal cells in the breast grow uncontrollably and can form tumors. Supporting events like this is important because it brings awareness to the disease, supports women affected by it, and allows communities to come together and make a difference.
