According to KCENT, the Killeen Police Department responded to reports of gunfire on the 3800 block of Sunny Beach Court in southwest Killeen shortly after midnight on Sunday, April 13.

Killeen Residents Alerted to Police Investigation of Early Morning Shooting

Ophelia MiraMontez, a spokesperson for the Killeen Police Department, stated that officers arrived at the scene to find several individuals fleeing from a residence. Despite the nature of the call, no victims or suspects were located at the scene, MiraMontez added later, a video surfaced on social media that appeared to show the scene described by police. A doorbell camera reportedly captured the sound of gunshots, as well as frightened individuals running from the area.

At this time, detectives from the Criminal Investigation Division are asking the community for assistance.
