According to Breezy Scroll Texas may have one of the largest water issues in the state that anyone has seen in a very long time. Over 100,000 residents in the great state of Texas were issued a boiling water notice after the traumatic events of Hurricane Beryl.
A BOILING WATER NOTICE HAS BEEN MADE FOR 22 COUNTIES HERE IN THE GREAT STATE
Over 2.5 million people went without power due to the category one storm. It continuously caused havoc and traveled through other parts of Texas and the country, but it finally weakened once it moved toward Canada. TCEQ also known as the Texas Commission of Environmental Quality released a report stating that 259 drinking water systems in Texas would need to be placed on the boiling water notice because it affects a population of 162,895 across 22 counties.

Angelina County, Brazoria, county, Chambers County, Fort Bend County, Grimes County, Hardin County, Houston County, Harris County, Liberty County, Montgomery County, Nacogdoches County, Orange County, Polk County, Saint Augustine County, San Jacinto County, Trinity County, Tyler County, Walker County, Waller County, Wharton county, Upshur county, and Matagorda County are listed as the Texas counties placed on the boiling water notice. Currently, there is no specific timeframe for when the boiling water notice will be lifted, but Texans are told to please be cautious when wanting to consume any water from these counties.
