Watch: North Texas Driver Stops in the Middle of Freeway

If there is any debate that Texas is home to some of the worst drivers in the world – this video should settle it.

Driving in Dallas-Fort Worth isn’t a fun experience for me mostly because I like to take it slow and easy when I’m on the road. But also because people do some stupid, stupid stuff on the roads down there.

From watching drivers whip in and out of traffic while going 90 mph to people riding on my bumper even though I’m going over the speed limit, my palms and armpits will be soaking wet with sweat by the time I reach my destination. I’ve never gotten comfortable driving there (even though I lived in Arlington for about two years).

And it feels like I come across a video of a driver doing something stupid down there just about every other day.

The latest round of DFW driver stupidity involves a driver who was willing to cause a horrible accident by stopping in the middle of the freeway when they realized they were about to miss their exit. Lucky for them and everyone around them, that wasn’t the case.

If that’s you and you’re reading this, if it happens again, just cut your losses, take the next exit, and turn around. You might not be so lucky next time.
