The video at the bottom of this article features a group of bikers rolling in on big, heavy motorcycles. But instead of just cruising along like most people would expect, they’re doing a little drifting.

That means they’re making their bikes slide sideways on purpose, leaving streaks of rubber on the road while somehow staying in control.

Usually, drifting is something you see with race cars or smaller, sportier motorcycles. These guys, however, are doing it with big cruisers, which are motorcycles built for long road trips, not stunts. And that’s exactly why they love it. It’s not easy, and that’s the whole point. They have to carefully control the gas, shift their weight just right, and react fast to keep from wiping out. One wrong move and things could go very badly.

This isn’t something you’ll see at a big motorcycle event or a stunt show. It’s more underground. There are no cheering fans, no prizes, just the sound of engines, the smell of burning rubber, and the thrill of pushing the limits of what a motorcycle can do.
