New Direct Flight In 2025 From Texas to Oaxaca

Many people are going to love to hear this news about a new direct flight out of Texas headed to Oaxaca. We just got the details from KHOU out of Houston about the new direct flights that are kicking off in April of 2025. 

The flight will be from Houston and take place weekly on Saturday and will be operated by United Express partner, Mesa Airlines. 

This New Texas Flight to Mexico Took Lots of Work 

It’s not just as simple as thinking up a new flight path and just picking a date to start the new flight. This new flight has been in the works thanks to the Oaxaca Tourism Board working with United Airlines and Aeropuertos Mexicanos to create this first direct flight from Houston to Puerto Escondido, Mexico. 

The New Flights Out of Texas Were Needed 

There have been passengers who have been wanting this new flight for a long time as Puerto Escondido’s annual airport traffic has increased by 132% since 2019. It’s now close to a million passengers per year.  

Many people love to travel there as it is a top surf destination, but the Oaxaca Tourism Board is hoping that guests will find more to love than just the water activities and make it more of a travel destination moving forward.  

As someone who loves to travel, I love it when we add any new flight destinations out of Texas.
