The Last Drive-In Picture show in Gatesville has been selected as one of 300 drive-ins that will air a new Garth Brooks concert.

According to a report from Good Morning America, on Saturday, June 27, Garth Brooks will host a concert across 300 drive-in theaters. Drive-ins have recently become more popularized as the country continues to social distance itself against the COVID-19 pandemic.

"They're going to run it just like a regular concert, but this is going to be all over North America, one night only," Garth Brooks stated to GMA. "We are excited because this is a reason to get out of the house, but at the same time you get to follow all the COVID rules from every individual state and you get to have fun and stay within the guidelines of social distancing ... we're calling it 'social distancing partying.'"

Tickets will be available for $100 a vehicle and will go on sale, June 19, at 11 AM and will be available for purchase on Ticketmaster. You can view a full list of participating drive-ins by clicking here.

Have you been to a drive-in recently? Will you be attendance at the concert?
