Central Texas Teens in Jail After Hit & Run Charge

Picking up an STD on spring break is not the worse thing that could happen.

KWTX is reporting that three Waco teens are in jail after an incident on South Padre Island.

They have been charged with multiple counts of accident involving personal injury which is connected to a hit-and-run.

According to South Padre Island spokesperson Nikki Soto. Madison Wheatley, Christopher Hart and Lorenzo Johnson were arrested on Saturday. It seems the three were involved in a hit-and-run around 7:45 p.m. Friday at a Stripes store on Padre Boulevard.

Media reports state that the victim suffered a broken leg when he was run over by a vehicle.

The three were in Cameron County Jail Monday night and being held in lieu of $75,000 bonds.

Yea, so ending up in the doctor's office to stop the burning pee will seem like a good time after being in a jail cell. Oh well, maybe next year.
