Celebrate Arbor Day With a Free Red Crape Myrtle

The Hillcrest Cemetery will celebrate Arbor Day by planting a red oak tree at the gravesite of Goodrich Jones, who is known by many as the “father of Texas Forestry”.

The event begins at 11 a.m., and is being presented by the Rotary Club. The first 84 people to arrive at the event and sign up will receive a free red crape myrtle tree.

Hillcrest Cemetery is located at 1873 N  1st St in Temple.
