This past weekend, I was rolling around house shopping and my stomach went to hollering at me so I decided to pull into Downtown Killeen and stop by Tyku Bistro & Catering since a lot of friends were telling me to check it out.

It just so happened that I pulled up at just the right time because Tyku was having an "All About Waffles Brunch" going on. I'm still a relatively new fan of "Chicken And Waffles" so I decided to try them out expecting the usual waffles with a side of chicken but what Phil Smith, the owner, brought to my table can only be described in one word: ART.

The waffle was covered in a yummy chocolate drizzle while powered sugar, whipped cream and fresh fruit took the waffle to another level! The chicken strips on top was flavored and seasoned to perfection and was delicious to eat even without the waffle, but when you take a bite of all this delicious goodness together, your taste buds will probably explode.

Now I could only enjoy just a few bites because my wife (in typical "I don't know what I want, but YOUR FOOD looks good" fashion) would soon commandeer my plate. So I had a plate of Tyku's delicious Cajun Pasta, which I damn sure enjoyed as well.
